Attilio {from-Attilio's Discount Sports Supplement Inc} seems to be a bit perturbed at this whole ephedra band. I wonder if it is because it means he will actually loose some business? He was on the news this morning talking about how there is no scientific research stating that ephedra is causing these health related problems. The white house on the other hand states that there have been over 16,000 cases of SERIOUS health related illness and death directly related to the use of ephedra.

I do not need any scientific research to know that this shit is bad. Since I have known my husband he has been completely addicted to it- taking bottles of mini-thins a day just to function. It alters moods, makes you a completely different person. Brings about rage disorders. The withdraw symptoms from ephedra are even worse, ranging from extreme mood swings, profuse sweating, pain, hallucinations, ect. I know, I have seen it first hand! When it was made difficult for my husband to buy the mini-thins, he resorted to other drugs that gave him the same affect such as Dayquil and began to take boxes of this on a daily basis. It is the Pseudoephedrine in Dayquil that gives the SAME effect as ephedra if you take enough of it. It is ALSO the Pseudoephedrine in over the counter cold medication that METH AMPHETAMINES are made with. YES METH! And it is also Pseudoephedrine that is replacing ephedra in weight loss pills. So, everyone- instead of killing yourselves with the use of Ephedra in weight loss pills, why not use METH INSTEAD??!! Make since to you?
