OMG! I have been gone so long, Blogger went and updated on me! LOL
I am now back, although not totally. See, my DSL still isn't set up yet No rants, no time. I still have unpacking to do, some cleaning too. Just went in and deleted 650 emails. It is quite refreshing to finally take a peek out of my black hole I fell in.

The 5th of May is not Mexican Independence Day, but it should be! And Cinco de Mayo is not an American holiday, but it should be. Mexico declared its independence from mother Spain on midnight, the 15th of September, 1810. And it took 11 years before the first Spanish soldiers were told and forced to leave Mexico.

So, why Cinco de Mayo? And why should Americans savor this day as well? Because 4,000 Mexican soldiers smashed the French and traitor Mexican army of 8,000 at Puebla, Mexico, 100 miles east of Mexico City on the morning of May 5, 1862.

{The French had landed in Mexico (along with Spanish and English troops) five months earlier on the pretext of collecting Mexican debts from the newly elected government of democratic President (and Indian) Benito Juarez. The English and Spanish quickly made deals and left. The French, however, had different ideas.}

In gratitude, thousands of Mexicans crossed the border after Pearl Harbor to join the U.S. Armed Forces. As recently as the Persian Gulf War, Mexicans flooded American consulates with phone calls, trying to join up and fight another war for America.

What happens when Mercury retrogrades?

Why would the Universe give us Mercury retrograde? Because to move forward it is sometimes necessary to backtrack and reconfigure our paths in life. It also gives us time to get to projects we have put on the back-burner.

I found a GREAT calender that shows days of the retrograde for 2004. I know that I will be checking back EVERY MONTH! So can you-ASTROPROFILE.........
He says that right now until the 7th we are in "red letter" days {slowing down period} but still in retrograde until the 17th when we will finally be back to normal!

~Health update~


This is FMI only, to keep track.....I really should do this more as I have been told to keep a "health diary".....
Mornings I have been waking with "eye bobbing". My eyes will bounce up and down rather quickly, on their own during the first 15 minutes of waking.
This also happens when I nap, however, I have noticed when I nap during the day, waking is much worse. Not only do my eyes bounce, but my body tremers, especially my right arm.
After the eyes stop bouncing, the head startes "whooshing" and then comes the headache. This is a normal morning for me and has been for the past 3 months.
Thank god I have a doctors appointment on the 11th!

Found out today that my mom reads Blogs! Wow Mom!! You go!! Not too long ago, she was so completely scared of computers. It is great to see her out there surfing! NOW- mom, YOU need to get a blog of your own and so does Rosy!

Well, today was pretty unproductive for me…laid back and slow. No place to live yet, however, I have found another area that is MUCH cheaper in rent and utilities. Actually, the food, cigs and gas are cheaper too and the jobs pay more. I will keep you updated on what I find.

The only “news” I got today was my doctor appointment was moved up to the 11th of this month! WOOT!! See, I already have a GREAT doctor but he is two hours away and there is no way that- in my present condition- I can make that drive. I found so really great nurses at Forest Park Hospital, they have been very –VERY helpful, I just really hope the doctor is just as great!

~*~Goddess give me a BOOST~*~

Yesterday seemed to really suck for just about everyone in one-way or another. I really hope that today finds everyone doing better. May all headaches be cured, jobs be found, days be easy and productive!

I have got to clean and PACK! I have to pack a lot and get rid of a lot and I have no idea where the heck I am even going yet. There are places that I CAN afford {on my own} but are too small and the “occupancy permits” will not allow and then there are places that I can only afford with BF. We are both totally fed up with St Louis! Really, I have no idea why I am even looking here anyway when my {our} dream is in Wisconsin. I am just trying to keep the kids stable, but the outcome of that seems to be more detrimental.
Sometimes I seem so damn confused! I think, a big move now, though it will be hard on them right now, will get easier in time as the big move will mean no more moves in the future. Then I think, maybe I should wait until they are out of school to move, but by then very close friendships will be made, it will be harder on them and it seems that I can’t even keep them in the same school now anyway. Ugggggg
Confused yet??? I am….lol

I just want to settle down and watch my children grow and grow old myself with a caring, loving man, sit on our front porch in our rockers while he plays his guitar, smoking cigs and drinking cold beer!
Is that too much to ask????
Well, it is almost 10 am and I still haven’t gotten anything accomplished, so I have to get my butt movin’…………
